Mick Fanning nacio en Australia el 13 de junio de 1981. Es un sufista profesional, que aprendio a surfear a los 5 años.

En 2001 gano su primer premio en la Rio Curl Pro Bells Beach en Australia. Estudio biologia al mismo tiempo que mejoraba el surf 

Su primer premio fue en 2001, en el 2002 gano otro premio en sur africa, en 2005 gano dos premios en francia y en australia... Desde el 2001 hasta ahora a ganado 21 premios.
Hoy en dia sigue surfeando. Es famoso por que es uno de los mejores surfistas en el mundo y por que el 19 de julio de 2015 fue atacado en medio de una competicion por un tiburon, afortunadamente salio sano y salvo. Sus maniobras favoritas son los Tubos y los Hack

Mick Fanning was born in Australia on 13 June 1981. He is a professional surfer. He learned to surf at the age of 5.
In 2001 he won his first award in the Rip Curl Pro Bells Beach in Australia. He studied biology at the same time that he improved his surfing.
His first award was in 2001, in 2002 he won another award in South Africa, in 2005 he won 2 awards in France and Australia... Since 2001 until now he has won 21 awards.
 Now adays he continues surfing. He is famous because is one of the best surfers in the word and because on 19 July 2015 he was attacked by a shark in the middle of a competition, fortunately he come back safe and sound. His favourite maneuvers are Hacks and Tubes.
