Hoy Gabriel Medina, uno de los mejores surfistas a nivel internacional, cumple 22 años. El 22 de diciembre de 1993 nació Gabriel, en Brasil.

Tiene un hermano (Felipe Medina) y una hermana (Sophia Rodrigues).

Mide 1'80, pesa 68 y es goofy (pone el pie izquierdo atrás sobre la tabla).

Comenzó a surfear a los 9 años. A los once, venció su primer campeonato a nivel nacional y así fue aprendiendo hasta donde esta ahora recién campeón de la Quiksilver Pro France y quedando segundo en la Billabong Pipe Master.
Fue el segundo surfista en realizar un 'Back flip' (salto mortal de espaldas)

Measures 1.80, it weighs 68 and is goofy (put your left foot backon the surfboard ).
He started surfing at age 9. At eleven years old, he won his first national championship and was learning so far this now newly Quiksilver Pro champion France and placing second in the Billabong Pipe Masters.
